Written by The setup of Dynamics AX client fails because of the following error found in the logfile:
RegAsm : error RA0000 : Could not load file or assembly ‘System.Design’
The setup was using the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 Client Profile for installation. Delete the .NET Framework 4.0 Client Profile and restart the installation of the Dynamics AX client. After installation you can reinstall the .NET Framework 4.0 Client Profile.
When you’re using WSUS in you environment and your Dynamics client is packaged for automated installation, make sure this update is not approved or the installation on new clients will fail again.
